SALES & MARKETING MANAGER (COLOMBO BASED POSITION)
Selected candidate is responsible for:
• Assist in maintaining and implementing an effective filing and administrative system for all matters related to T/A,T/O and corporate events.
• Identify and maintain a general database of potential customers (T/A,T/O and corporate)
• Socialize and meet with potential clients.
• Assist in handling events with the concerned departments within the hotel to make sure that all hotel standards are maintained properly.
• Assist in maintaining an effective working relationship with all members of media, electronic and print, local, national and international in order to encourage and maximize the revenue of all events and promotions
• Assist in the production of promotional material and collateral material.
• Strengthen the relationship with existing T/A,T/O and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with other teams such as Front Office, Finance, F& B, and Housekeeping etc. to ensure smooth operations in the hotel.
Requirements:
• Age preferable below 45 years.
• Excellent command of English in Spoken and Written.
• 2 years of high-quality experience in sales or marketing
• Strong analytical skills and ability to structure / negotiate large and complex business deals.
• Mature, professional and has ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with T/A, T/O and Corporate Client.
• High degree of ownership, roll-up-your-sleeve attitude & willingness to get task completed.
• Local market knowledge is a must.
• Relevant experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
