Housekeeping Executive

The Housekeeping Executive supports the Head of Housekeeping in the efficient day-to-day operations of the department. This role focuses on supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently met, and coordinating departmental activities in line with management expectations. The position requires strong attention to detail, team coordination, and a commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Housekeeping in managing daily housekeeping operations.
  • Supervise housekeeping staff during their duties to ensure work is performed efficiently and according to hotel standards.
  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guest arrivals.
  • Monitor public areas and ensure they are clean, presentable, and hazard-free at all times.
  • Coordinate closely with the Head of Housekeeping, providing regular updates and reports on operational performance, issues, and staff activities.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Train, guide, and support housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.

Candidate Profile :

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar capacity within a reputed star class hotel.
  • Strong command of English (both spoken and written).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
