This is an on-property, residential position based at our hotel in Anuradhapura. Accommodation and meals are provided.
Rajarata Hotel is seeking a hands-on Assistant Engineer – Maintenance to oversee hotel engineering and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain AC chillers, AHUs, FCUs, heat pumps and refrigeration systems
- Maintain kitchen, laundry, pool, STP and water-softening plants
- Handle electrical, generator, plumbing, pumps and fire-protection systems
- Manage preventive maintenance, breakdowns, equipment logs and contractors
- Supervise technicians and manage tools/spares
Requirement
- NDT/NDES Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or NVQ Level 5–6 equivalent
- 3–4 years’ relevant hotel/resort maintenance experience
- Strong hands-on experience with chillers, heat pumps, cold rooms and refrigeration
- Electrical fault-finding and schematic-reading skills
- Willingness to reside in Anuradhapura and work roster/on-call duties
